True North collides with the Science Museum

We’ve been appointed by the Science Museum to develop the promotional campaign for their upcoming exhibition, Collider.

The exhibition offers visitor’s the opportunity to step inside the Large Hadron Collider. Visitors will be immersed in a dramatic experience that transports them to the heart of operations in the CERN control room. There they will meet a cast of characters who will reveal the daily stresses, challenges and thrills of running the 27-km-long collider and its four enormous detectors.

We were appointed following a competitive pitch, and this latest win add’s to a long list of creative campaigns for leading visitor attractions across the country. In case you need reminding, we’ve also recently started working with Wellcome Collection and Chester Zoo, as well as our ongoing work with National Portrait Gallery and National Trust.

Willow Williams, Senior Marketing Executive at the Science Museum:
“We were already impressed with True North’s portfolio of clients in our sector, and when they came to pitch for this campaign we weren’t disappointed. It’s an exciting exhibition for us and we’re looking forward to working with True North to capture the energy and immersive experience we’ll give visitors”

Ben Harrison, Senior Design at True North:
“This is a great project to be part of, because we really need to capture the immersive experience of the Collider exhibition. So we’re able to develop ideas that go a bit beyond the norm for museum visitor attraction campaigns.”

The exhibition opens in November 2013. You can find more information on the Science Museum here.
